Thank you @gerhard for sharing. I live in the USA and I'm very nervous to purchase this but I do want to try some day. We have some local people who go to South America a couple of times a year and I think they might bring some back with them, I'm not sure how they get theirs.
My girlfriend is from South America — I'd love to visit one day, and plan a detour trip to an ayahuasca ceremony too.
I believe there are 5-MeO-DMT ceremonies in the USA too — I know you like your spiritual ceremonies 💓

But in short, it is when our ego throws a tantrum after a breakthrough experience — like the chimpanzee inside of us throwing bananas around in a hissy fit — because it doesn't want to surrender itself to Love. A lot of times after a breakthrough, people report a spike of difficult emotions and thoughts — as if the ego is trying to force itself back into the picture.
When that happens — meditation + self enquiry + loving and accepting the hurting ego is the general prescription. Sometimes it can be very challenging though!
