We had our first viewer question ?
Joined by car enthusiast Vikum Welideniya, we both explained what our dream car is, and why we liked that car over all others - as well as some other supercar related tangents.
Apologies for the low resolution, I am having upload issues with my slow internet. And secondly, apologies for the poor audio quality - there was a projector creating a lot of static noise which I had to filter out in editing, resulting in our voices being filtered out at some frequencies.Watch Video On YouTube »
This is the channel's first podcast-style interview - Hoorah!
We talk about the Cricket World Cup 2019 in review. How did South Africa do? How did Sri Lanka do? Was it an overall good tournament? We discuss the most memorable moments of the world cup, and share our thoughts on other cricket related tangents.
The backstory to this video --- I originally recorded this in 4K, but the 65GB file was way too big for my internet to upload. After trying to transfer the files via portable hard drive, and trying different wifi sources at our disposal, we still couldn't get a nearly-adequate speed. A week and half after recording and editing, I finally admitted defeat and re-rendered the video in a much less impressive 1280x720. Then! It took my internet from Friday night to Monday morning to upload!
Next time I will need to decrease the resolution even more it would appear, at least for long videos such as these.
This video was an opportunity to test out my recording equipment, especially the audio equipment, which I haven't used before. There was an issue with a projector creating a lot of static noise, which I filtered out in editing, but the result is that our voices do sound a bit off. I will keep experimenting and improving - thank you for your patience and understanding. PS we know the video isn't ????? quality! We are enjoying the novelty of the experience ? And before you can make good content, you first need to jump into the pool at some stage! Hopefully our amateurish nature amuses you and proves comical. I laughed editing the video anyway!
I actually have around 4 more hours of content to release once I get through the editing backlog - so stay tuned for that. Let me know if you have any future video requests!Watch Video On YouTube »
